Self-Powered Angle Sensor for Drill Pipe Based on Triboelectric Nanogenerator

Drill pipe angle is one of the key parameters for adjusting drilling technology, which needs real-time measurement. In this paper, an sensor based on triboelectric nanogenerator proposed. The can be set to different resolutions by designing EVA sheets. Taking 12 sensors as example, test results indicated sensitivity 0.08∘/V, linearity 5.2%, and maximum relative error 6%. terms self-supply capability, output voltage are 29 V, a current 50 nA, load power 110 nW. case 50000 working cycles, its performance has not significantly decreased, showing high stability.
